Hailing from the vibrant streets of Brooklyn, DJ Oji has been spinning records since he was 14, immersing himself in the nascent house music scene from its inception in 1984. While his formative dance years were spent in New York, it was in Baltimore where he honed his craft as a DJ and producer, co-founding the influential POJI Records with fellow house music aficionado DJ Pope, and firmly establishing his roots in a city that he now calls home.
